Evidencia científica
En la actualidad, la toma de decisiones del fisioterapeuta está fundamentada en la evidencia científica. Esto supone, por ejemplo, el análisis riguroso de fuentes confiables para determinar si el uso de ciertas modalidades es o no el más adecuado bajo ciertas circunstancias. En el caso de la modalidad Telesalud, en los últimos años se han publicado en diversas bases de datos, artículos científicos relacionados con su efectividad en el área musculoesquelético, neurológica, cardiopulmonar, entre otras.
